Next Meeting....September 11th

Upcoming book....

On September 11th we will join together at 6pm, at Becky's Coffee Corner to discuss;

The Big Sky by A.B. Guthrie, hosted by Nicole Thomas

Bring your input, perspective, and viewpoints to the meeting.  The host supplies the questions and talking points as well as a snack to share.  All you have to do is relax and enjoy the conversation about the book at hand.

Our last few months have held some reading treasures.  Some that get to stay on the book shelf and some that we are glad we read and enveloped the knowledge that was within.  Most importantly, we had fun picking them apart, getting lost in stories and relishing the friendship and fellowship along the way.

In July, we read Ordinary Grace, hosted by Mary Thomas

In August, we enjoyed Sour Chef, hosted by Sheri Wilkins

It's been too long.....

Hello Book Friends!

What a busy and fulfilling handful of months.  Our cherished member, Celeste', welcomed a baby girl in March.  One of our original members, Mary, celebrated a milestone birthday that we all were able to contribute wishes to.  Some of us have traveled, and some have had our own individual journeys right here at home this past year.   Most importantly, we've made some fun memories, all of which we've enjoyed sharing and talking about.

We had a wonderful celebration held during our last meeting in June.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARY!

I'm including below a book log of the books we've featured and will feature.  Yes, it's been THAT long since I've made an entry.

    SAY GOODBYE FOR NOW

    September 12th 2017

    Image result for say goodbye for now

    Described as beautifully written, this month's book holds a feel-good story that features the concept of family while intertwining the aspects of friends and outcasts, hellos and goodbyes, love and battles, and...a wolf-hybrid dog.

    This meeting will entail the book Say Goodbye For Now by Catherine Ryan Hyde.  Barb Shimek will be our gracious host of the evening.  TPTBC meetings are held at Becky's Coffee Corner the second Tuesday of the month.  Meetings begin at 6pm and last until 7:30-8pm.  Our discussions vary from fun and deep to analytical and uplifting.  We're all just a bunch of friendly people eager to dissect books and TALK!  (Don't worry if you just like to listen, there's much to listen to!)
